Overview
This social network is designed to help users discover their third spaces—places that are neither home nor work, but serve as comfortable, welcoming environments for study, relaxation, or socializing.
The project was inspired by our own search for study spaces around Red River Polytechnic.
Developed as a group assignment for Server-Side Programming at RRC, our team collaborated on the interface design. My contributions focused on coding the HTML, JavaScript, and PHP for the “Add New Place” feature, allowing users to submit and share their favorite third spaces.

New Place
The New Place page allows users to add locations to the searchable database. Users can upload photos, provide descriptions, and select from predefined tags to categorize the location.
Map
By integrating OpenStreetMap, we created a location card that retrieves information from the database and displays the user-submitted tags, making it easy to visualize and categorize each third space.
